NEXT UP! 30 Bud vases hidden for Art Walk in Stonington Borough Sept 14
The Glaze Vase Project is all about connecting with community, encouraging people to explore the outdoors and spreading a little artistic joy in the form of a handmade bud vase. I was largely inspired by The Glass Float Project and the talented work of Glass Artist Eben Horton and felt compelled to create an interactive experience in my area with my own craft. My goal? To spark smiles and bring handmade art into peoples homes!
The Glaze Vase Project launched during Art Walk, an annual event in the picturesque, historic Stonington Borough, in Stonington, CT on Saturday September 17. Forty Tiny Vases were hidden outside merchant shops on Water Street and in and around public areas in the Borough like Cannon Square, the Library Grounds, La Grua Center, the Town Dock and Stonington Point. Hiding spots were safely away from sea-walls and easily accessible just off beaten paths or sidewalks. Vase seekers were kindly asked to only keep one vase per person per year so that the project can spread into as many homes as possible.

Thank you Lyndsay, this project is so darling and an amazing addition to the Annual Stonington Borough Art Walk!”
